2020 Shop Hop Commemorative Quilt
featuring the "Birds and Berries of Maine" fabrics
2020 Shop Hop Commemorative Quilt Pattern is now available to download for FREE!
The 2020 Shop Hop Commemorative Quilt Pattern is a pattern written exclusively for this year's Shop Hop!
This pattern, written by Kathy Stanley at Sewing by the Sea in Trenton (one of this year's Hop shops),
gives you the directions on how to make your very own 2020 Shop Hop commemorative quilt.
Each participating Hop Shop has designed a 12" block pattern. Hoppers are eligible to receive this block pattern FOR FREE when visiting a Hop shop. If a hopper is unable to visit all 24 shops, the block patterns are available to download right here
on the Shop Hop website.
Hoppers can then follow this year's free quilt pattern to make a quilt that will showcase each of this year's Hop shop
12" blocks. The pattern also includes directions on how to modify the design in order to make a
table runner or smaller quilt, if you prefer.
Hoppers have an even simpler option, also: simply use this year's fabric line, "Birds and Berries of Maine" by Robert Kaufman,
in place of the 12" block patterns! That will create a real showpiece to highlight this year's fabrics,
as featured in the photos to the left.
Let your creativity take flight with this year's FREE quilt pattern and FREE 12" block patterns!
Enjoy selecting prints from this year's custom-designed fabric line,
"Birds and Berries of Maine" by Robert Kaufman, to customize your quilt design.
Be sure to download the quilt and block patterns before August 31, when the Shop Hop ends.

Click the map link button to see the map showing all 24 shops. Use the map to plan your hopping routes!
IMPORTANT: Google Maps does not give accurate directions to Cotton Weeds in Freeport, despite communication with Google Map designers. When planning your route to Cotton Weeds, enter "Freeport Fire Department" in your GPS; Cotton Weeds is directly across the street from the fire department. Thanks!
Take your passport with you to each shop you visit; each shop will stamp their square on your passport or give you a sticker for their square. At the end of your hopping, mail the passport to the address listed on it to be entered in the prize drawings! Check what type of hopper you are in the top right corner of the passport, legibly write your name and contact information on the bottom, and don't forget to vote for your favorite shop's Shop Challenge Quilt if you visit at least 10 shops.
This printable reference guide lists all the Shop Hop shops, addresses, and hours, as well as details about each shop's requirements for the 2020 Shop Hop, restroom status, and special online hopping offers.
